Cologne is the only German city I’ve ever spent any significant time, and even then in total it adds up to about 3 days. The first time was when we staged an exhibition of MoWax related artwork at least 10 years ago. I returned briefly last week, en route to Prague while delivering my friend’s new car. I was desperate to see Gerhard Richter’s ‘Symphony of Light’ stained glass window in the 13th Century Cathedral. It didn’t disappoint… I’m not sure the photos do it any justice at all. I love stained glass anyway but this is fucking amazing. 11,500 of 72 different colour glass squares.
