Sorry for not updating here so much, but I’ll do a small re-cap of all the cool things happened this year on db-db in this post.

First off,  it’s an interactive installation piece for Nike Sportswear China with W+K Shanghai. I programmed the tracking software and animation in Openframeworks, actually my first try on OF, it’s a really good platform for interactive programming works.

-

I ported my Nudemen Clock to iPhone but the humorless Apple didn’t like Nudemen, so I could only use “Numen” instead. You can get it from the iTunes App Store.

-

Also, Nudemen Numen Camera

-

And, Tap Nudemen Numen

-

After my Cloudie app, I also made Snowie and Sunnie as an app series.

-

And next up, CreativeApplications.net and db-db will launch a special app Voidie in January.

-

Tap Numen “Destroyer” Edition was featured at the Nike Sportswear “Destroy to Create” party in Shanghai two weeks ago. People seemed to like it very much!

-

And out of the virtual world, I’m lucky enough to open a boutique furniture shop here in Shanghai. It’s called Origin Woodwork, or O.WW or 源木,please stop by and say hi if you’re in Shanghai.

Address: 114 Wanping Rd. Shanghai
Website: originwoodwork.com

Last but not least, Matthew and I and Bitboxland wish you a super happy holiday! See you next year!

My first iPhone App finally got approved by Apple!

This is an application based on the web art project nudemessenger.com. Nudemen now comes to iPhone and becomes Numen. When the application launches, it will only have one Numen. Try rotate and shake your device, more of them might be coming out. Put your device flat on the table, your Numen will wander around freely.

You can also ask for their advice. Simply say the question, and tap on the dialog bubble. They will give you a “YES” or “NO” with some jogging exercise.
