Roberu leather seminar & workshop at Eslite Bookstore in Taipei and Taichung.

台湾のパートナーであるindigoBlueさん主催の今回で2回目となる台湾でのレザーセミナーに加え、前回来場者のご要望を受け、
レザーワークショップを開催致しました。
On last March, Indigo Blue of our partner organized the Roberu 2nd leather seminar in Taiwan, and organized leather workshops in response to requests from the last participants.

国内でのワークショップでも好評だったスマートフォンケースを台湾の皆さんと製作しました。
We produced the smart phone leather case of well-reputed from our workshop participants in Japan.

予約の段階でワークショップのチケットは完売だったそうで、参加してくれた生徒さんは
皆、レザークラフトと日本のモノ造りにとても興味を持って熱心に製作してくれました。
The tickets were sold out on the process of reservation.
All participants have an interest in Japanese monodukuri and leather craft, so focus on making the leather case by hand.

今回は台北と台中を渡り、計4回のワークショップを行いましたが、台湾の人はとても温かく明るくて、モノ造りを通じ文化交流がしたいというROBERUの想いに笑顔で応えてくれました。
This time we had 4 classes in Taipei and Taichung, in Taiwan people were warm and joined with smiles in our thought that we would like to expand cultural relations.

《Natural Canvas & Leather Hat 》

Canvas dyed with vegetables and Tanned leather hat is collaborated with morno that produce the original design and feel good hats in Osaka.

大阪にて独自のデザインとアイデアを活かし被り心地の良い帽子を提案している、帽子メーカー「morno（モーノ）」さんと協力して製作した草木染め生地＆レザーハットです。

Actually we use the canvas that are dyed with vegetables and natural material in Kyoto, and the feature of this canvas is deep color.
In addition, The leather is Roberu original tanned leather that is filing the surface and matte finished.
It feels good on your skin, and you could enjoy the aging leather by using.

生地部分に用いた染料は全て天然の素材から抽出した染料を使用し、京都の染色所にて染上げた深みのある色合いが特徴です。
革はヌメ革の繊維を解し柔らかくし、表面をソリッド（ヤスリ掛け）したマットな質感のROBERUオリジナルレザーを使用しています。
肌触りが良く、使い込む事で色と艶が増し、経年変化を楽しめます。

《Piece Dyed Shoes 3 colors》

Piece dyed shoes are the dress shoes of drum dyeing after completing natural undyed tanned leather shoes.

ヌメ革を下地（無垢な染料を入れない）状態でシューズを製作し、レザー染色用のドラムにてまわしながら色入れをした後染めドレスシューズです。

The shoes was dyed by drum, so the leather become color shading fortuitously and was kinked.
Several shoes have diffrent expression, and have the original drape.

ドラムにて染色する事で、偶発的に生まれる”あたり”や色の濃淡、折れ曲がりが、靴一つ一つの表情を変え、オリジナルの表情を持つ作品となっております。

We could adjust the rate of dyestuff of Grey and Brown, because it is difficult for dying the leather by light colors.
Please enjoy the foot comfort and texture of the dress shoes that Roberu bring antumn and winter 2012.

染色の加減も非常に難しく特に色の薄いグレー、ブラウンは染料の比重など慎重に調整して製作しました。

The leather case for 15-inch MacBook Pro was produced as 2nd collaborated project with VIVA JAPAN that is a social commerce site of delivering Japanese Monozukuri and culture.

世界に向け、日本のモノ造りと文化を発信しているソーシャルコマースサイト
VIVAJAPANさんとの第2弾企画にて誕生したMacBookPro15インチ用レザーケースです。

This case is made of Roberu original tanned leather that we produce the leather belt.
Biggest feature is using the floor surface for producing the Macbook pro case.

Usually we produce belts and bags of 4mm wide of the tanned leather, or use the surface for bags and the floor face for the lining and the inserts of shoes.
Actually the floor surface of leather would be discarded, however we could find out that the floor surface would be the good quality suede leather by changing our point of view.

And then, we use the floor surface leather that is chipped off in order to produce bags as the main material this time.

今回使用したレザーはROBERUにて人気のベルト等に使用しているヌメ革を丹念に揉み解した
ROBERUオリジナルレザーです。
特徴は、そのレザーの床面をメインに使った事です。
本来、4mm厚のこの革をそのままベルトや鞄の取手に用いるか、薄く漉いて表面を鞄に、
床面を裏当てか靴のインソールなどに使用したりします。
普段はあまりメインとして使わないので、革の質感によっては日の目を見ずに捨てられたりします。
ですが、視点を変え床面に意識を持ってみると、
この革のように床面がとても上質なスエード調の質感をしているときもあります。
今回はROBERUにて鞄等の製作で鋤き落とされた床面を集め、メインとして使用してみました。

肌触りの良い、スエードの質感と適度な厚みが、お使いのMacBookを優しく包んでくれます。

The design of this case is that we do not sew futilely and use only the adhesive for leather shoes by harnessing the asperity of the suede leather’s surface like a simple envelope.

仕様は無駄な縫製を入れず、スエードの細かい凹凸を活かし靴用の接着剤で圧着した
シンプルな横型の封筒をイメージした作品となっています。
