It has been a while since the last time Alden has hosted a trunk show in HK.

Mr Nate Humble from Alden Shoe Company will be in town on 7th and 8th October 2011 to host an Alden trunk show at TASSELS.

He will be unveiling a much anticipated 5th Anniversary Edition style that is specially made for us by Alden, as well as showing leather samples and shoe design prototypes during the show.

(1) 穿鞋時宜使用鞋拔

保護鞋子的後側是很重要的，所以穿鞋的時候應該經常要使用鞋拔，來保護鞋子腳跟的部分。

一般不錯的鞋子（甚至球鞋）都會有一個較硬的物料放入鞋子腳跟位置裡面，可使鞋子緊緊抓住你的腳跟部分。這樣鞋子便能夠跟隨你的每一步走，而不必用腳趾的力來帶起鞋身(試想一下拖鞋)，你的腳便不會那麼累了。

還可以省下足底按摩的錢，來買下一雙愛鞋。

A pair of good shoes can last you many years, but it doesn’t mean you don’t need to take a good care of them. We will share some tips here and hope that your beloved shoes can last longer and “age” better.

(1)  Use a shoehorn to put on the shoes

It is important to protect the back of your shoes using a shoehorn when putting your feet into the shoes.All decent shoes (even sneakers) have a stiff heel cup or heel counter inserted around the back of the shoes, which enables the shoes to hug onto the heels of the feet. They will follow your feet on each step when you walk, thus you don’t need to hold on to the shoes using the toes (like flip-flops) and your feet will feel less tired as a result.

You will be a happier man without a pair of battered feet at home.
